Remembering Steve Jobs: Life & Times Of A Tech Legend

Apple Inc. Co-founder and chairman Steven P. Jobs (often called Steve Jobs), who changed the way people using the personal computers through his visionary ideas died at the age of 56. “Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being.”, as stated in the Apple’s official website, “Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of apple”.

Although the cause for Steve Job’s death is unsure, mostly it would be because of the pancreatic cancer with which he have been struggled for years.  Also, “The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had,  the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come,” Mr. Gates said in a statement after the death of Steve.
Steve-Jobs
Started in 1975, Steve made use of his friend Stephen Wozniak’s talent in making computers to start their own venture in Steve’s garage and named it Apple. They were the perfect duad to run a company who made into the Fortune 500 list in less than two years of time. With Lisa in early 1980′s, Apple already started revolutionising the personal computing by introducing graphical user interface in the market. Then started the Macintosh project where Steve showed his roguish side, but build a computer with cheap and powerful graphical user interface.
The Macintosh came as a threat to the Apple’s Lisa and Apple II sale, which followed by the Macintosh’s unsuccess in market lead the company to relieve the Steve Jobs from his managerial duties. This is where Steve started building the Pixar from a small team of excellent computer graphics experts and also founded the company neXT to build advanced computers for research and higher education, which later acquired by Apple.

After acquiring neXT, Apple got Steve again into the company who then took back the company from a recorded loss of $700 million for the  first quarter of 1997. His revolutionary ideas gave us the iPod in 2001 and it has been constantly getting updated since from its release. iPod is the thing which revolutionised the way people hear music. With the success of iPod, so shockingly Steve merged the Pixar with Disney and become Disney’s largest individual share holder along with 7% of the Disney’s stock that time.
Steve was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late 2003 and he was asked for a surgery to save him from cancer. He underwent surgery, but only in August 2004 and everyone thought the cancer got cured. From 2006 Apple started becoming inseparable from electronic devices consumers and in 2007 the name of the company is changed from Apple computer Inc. to Apple Inc. to let know the world that Steve started building a post computer era.
The post computer era has been started for Apple with the release of iPhone in 2007 and iPad in 2010, making a strong  impression in the computer world. Now for most of the people Steve Jobs was like some super human who could do things that none others could do and that was almost true. Steve Jobs death was like, I lost one of my family member although he doesn’t know who I was but he changed the way I live through his products. I don’t know how others feel and to know that Apple Inc. itself welcomes emails from Peoples who wants to share their thoughts, memories, and condolences for Steve to this email rememberingsteve@apple.com.
