Now a day’s car-buyers need to hear some good and worth able reason for why they need to buy one particular car. Because there are a lot of options these days car manufacturers offering to customers and most of the manufacturers offer some same features. So, it is the time for car manufacturers to make themselves differentiated from other manufacturers and the best way to do it is to offer some newly developed In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) services.
To stay out front in the car manufacturing and marketing the Asian giants Hyundai, Kia and C&S are now collaborating with Intel to develop the next generation IVI services. According to Intel, “these platforms will bring new services and content, such as location-based applications, social networking capabilities and entertainment, to both drivers and passengers in future Hyundai and Kia vehicles”.
From Intel’s statement, the new features and applications were expected to include Rear-seat entertainment (movies, games, TV, social networking, etc), Navigation Radio/CD Location-based services, internal connectivity to mobile devices and External communications. And these developments will be made using the Intel’s two year old “Intel® Atom™ processor to add more intelligent and innovative capabilities”, reported by Krystal Temple in Intel newsroom.
